Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: July 18, 2026

StartupAmplify distributes real products to real directories, and our reputation with those directories depends on what gets submitted through us. This policy covers what you may distribute using the service, and how the agent is and isn't allowed to behave. It applies to everyone who uses StartupAmplify and is part of our Terms of Service.

You may not distribute

  • Illegal products or services, or anything that facilitates illegal activity
  • Scams, fraud, deceptive schemes, or misrepresenting what your product does
  • Malware, phishing, or anything designed to harm users or their devices
  • Content that is hateful, harassing, defamatory, or promotes violence
  • Sexually explicit material involving minors, or any illegal adult content
  • Infringing someone else's intellectual property or impersonating another brand or person
  • Submitting the same product as many fake or misleading listings to game a directory

How the agent behaves

These limits are ours, not just yours — they're how we keep automated distribution from becoming spam. The full reasoning is in the automation policy.

  • No CAPTCHA solving or bot-detection bypassing
  • No fake engagement, reviews, votes, or manufactured social proof
  • No impersonation or acting on an account without your authorization
  • No submitting where a directory genuinely needs a human decision we shouldn't fake (that's Tier 3)

If this policy is broken

We may refuse or halt a distribution run, remove listings we submitted, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy — without a refund for work already performed (see the refund policy). Where required, we'll cooperate with lawful requests from directories or authorities.
